About
Sharon Veldstra was born South Western Quebec, Canada and raised in Eastern Ontario amongst the beautiful scenic Laurentian Mountains. She received her arts training in Alexandria, Vankleek Hill, and Cornwall, Ontario. She currently paints Canadian wildlife, and landscapes primarily in acrylics.

Her interest in photography began as a means to capture the images she was gifted to experience for future reference, but has taken on a life of its own. She currently resides in SouthWestern Ontario with her family, and hopes to continue to be able to communicate her concerns for our wildlife and natural spaces through her work.
